Big news! We are opening a Forensic Advocacy Program! When an adult or child who has recently been a victim of sexual or domestic violence, we can assist them by collecting both disclosure and medical evidence.
Our trained interviewers can have one interview with the survivor so they they do not have to repeat their story over and over. Our certified Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner will collect medical evidence by performing forensic exams and collecting Physical Evidence Recovery Kits for sexual violence victims. Our SANE can also perform forensic exams for domestic violence victims who wish to collect medical evidence.
We are deeply excited to offer these services to our community. The evidence collection process is difficult for victims; most places where you got o have evidence collected are stressful and intimidating. Our Forensic Advocacy Program will offer a calm, trauma-informed environment where the client is our top priority. And we're offering these services close to home.
Interviewing beginning July 1, medical evidence beginning October 1. Click here to learn more!
