Southside Center for Violence Prevention is pleased to host a Summer Institute on Child Abuse and the Roles and Responsibilities of Educators July 29-31 from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM daily. Topics include the effects of abuse on school performance, absenteeism, accreditation implications, victim safety, offender accountability, mandated reporting, placement decisions, health education, family and peer-to-peer abuse, and more. The Institute is open to administrators, principals, counselors, teachers, and resource/safety officers.
DIVISIONS WILL PAY A ONE-TIME REGISTRATION FEE OF $100 OR $200 FOR ALL THREE DAYS.
PARTICIPANTS WILL PAY FOR MEALS ONLY. COST FOR THREE DAYS WILL BE $30.00 ($10.00 PER DAY PER PERSON).
